It usually consists of five parts: sponge cake (flour, sugar, eggs, cornstarch, vanilla); lemon syrup (lemon juice, water, sugar); pastry cream (eggs, sugar, vanilla, flour, butter, milk); mascarpone whipped cream (mascarpone cheese, crème fraiche, sugar, vanilla), and a garnish of fresh strawberries.
In order to assemble the cake, the sponge cake is brushed with lemon syrup, topped with pastry cream and quartered strawberries, and then with whipped cream. The process is repeated two more times, and the cake is then covered with mascarpone whipped cream and the remaining strawberries.

Ichigo daifuku is one of the most interesting versions of the traditional Japanese daifuku sweets. All daifuku varieties consist of a chewy mochi shell, made with pounded glutinous rice and various fillings which are hidden inside the shell.
Ichigo stands out as one of the unique types since it uses whole strawberries as fillings. In the most traditional type, the strawberry is first wrapped in a thin layer of sweet red bean paste, referred to as anko in Japanese, and then in a layer of soft white mochi.
Slatko od jagoda is a type of Serbian preserve made with strawberries. This dish belongs to a group of slatko preserves that are traditionally made from various seasonal fruit such as quinces, apricots, cherries, or watermelons. The strawberries are washed and cleaned before they are cooked in sugar syrup.
During cooking, it is recommended not to stir the fruit so it would stay whole and not turn into mush. Lemon is usually added in order to help preserve the fruit and add extra flavor. Like other types of slatko, the strawberry version is also an essential part of Serbian hospitality.

Fraisier is a French cake, its name derived from the word fraise, meaning strawberry. Traditionally, the cake consists of layers of genoise sponge, vanilla-flavored créme mousselline, marzipan, and lines of fresh, sliced strawberries.
Originally, fraisier was invented as a tribute to strawberries, since the only available strawberries in France before the 19th century were tiny wild strawberries, similar in size to blueberries. In the 1930s, new types of strawberries became available in France and the rest of Europe for use in desserts, and a new cake was created.

Eton mess is a popular English dessert made by combining fresh strawberries, meringue, and cream. The dessert was invented in the 1930s at the English Eton College, when it was traditionally served at the school's prize-giving celebration, held annually on June 4th.
Originally, it was made with either strawberries or bananas that were mixed with ice cream because meringue is a recent addition to the dish. The word mess refers to the untidy visual appearance of the dish. Today, Eton mess can be made with other fruit, such as raspberries, redcurrants, or even blackberries, and because it is very easy to prepare and flavorful, it is popular throughout the country, especially in the summer.

Frozen yogurt is a frozen dessert treat made with yogurt and (sometimes) other dairy products and flavorings. It is lower in fat than ice cream due to the use of milk instead of cream. Frozen yogurt is usually served with numerous toppings such as strawberries, bananas, or chunks of cookies and candy.
The first frozen yogurt was produced in the 1970s in New England, but the name of its inventor is still a mystery. Originally, it was made as a low-fat option for people who consumed ice cream, but it wasn't a big success due to the fact that most Americans preferred the sweet ice cream over the tart frozen yogurt.

The familiar form of trifle was well-known by the Victorian era, but unlike today, it was primarily made to make use of leftover sponge cakes and custards.

Banana split is a classic dessert consisting of a lengthwise-cut banana topped with scoops of strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate ice cream. Typical garnishes include nuts, fruits, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. The dessert is traditionally served in a long dish called a boat.
It was invented in 1904 in Latrobe, Pennsylvania by David Strickler, who wanted to make something "different" for a college student who had one day entered the pharmacy where he worked as an apprentice. The pharmacies often featured a soda fountain where customers could indulge in a soda or a frozen treat for just a few cents.
