Terre di Siena

As the name might suggest, Terre di Siena extra virgin olive oil is produced in the Tuscan province of Siena, where the cultivation of olive trees dates back as far as the late Middle Ages. This olive oil is obtained from at least two of the following olive varieties: Frantoio, Correggiolo, Leccino and Moraiolo, which combined make at least 85% of the groves.

Terre di Siena oil is golden yellow to green and has a delicate fruity aroma and quite a spicy taste. It is used raw in various appetizers such as bruschettas and crudités but also for cooking in many typical Tuscan soups and minestrones.
