Aceite Del Bajo Aragón | Local Olive Oil From Province of Zaragoza, Spain | TasteAtlas

Aceite del Bajo Aragón

Aceite del Bajo Aragón is an extra virgin olive oil made only by 34 producers in the autonomous community of Aragon. The area in which this oil is made spreads over 37000 hectares and has an average density of 70 olive trees per hectare.

The oil is produced by processing the autochthonous olive varieties Empeltre, Arbequina and Royal. Like all extra virgin olive oils, this one is also made using only mechanical means that don't alter its natural characteristics.

Aceite del Bajo Aragón is clear in appearance, golden in color and has a smooth and soft flavor reminiscent of ripe olives.
