Estepa | Local Olive Oil From Province of Seville, Spain | TasteAtlas

Estepa

Estepa is one of the most awarded extra virgin olive oils in the world and is recognized for its supreme quality. This olive oil is extracted from the Hojiblanca, Manzanilla, Arbequina, Martena and Lechin olive varieties and is produced in the regions of Estepa and Puente Genil.

This is a green olive oil with a very pronounced fruitiness and flavors reminiscent of green bananas and freshly cut grass. Estepa is green to yellow-green in color depending on the time of the harvest and has a pleasant peppery aftertaste. It is a rich olive oil with harmoniously balanced sour and sweet flavors that are accompanied by abundant aromas found only in the best olive oils in the world.
