Lucca | Local Olive Oil From Province of Lucca, Italy | TasteAtlas

Lucca

Lucca extra virgin olive oil is one of the most representative Italian products abroad. It is produced in the province of Lucca and obtained predominantly from the Frantoio and Leccino olive varieties. This oil has a deep golden color with shades of green, and a sweet, fruity aroma, reminiscent of fresh herbs of the field, artichokes, rosemary and almond.

Lucca oil has quite a tangy taste with bitter undertones which makes it perfect for salad dressings or drizzling over bruschettas and soups.
