Laghi Lombardi extra virgin olive oil comes in two varieties, Sebino and Lario. Both are produced in Lombardy: Sebino in the provinces of Brescia and Bergamo, and Lario in the provinces of Como and Lecco. Sebino oil is obtained from the Leccino (at least 40%), Frantoio, Casaliva, Pendolino and Sbresa olive varieties (up to 60%); it is greenish yellow in color, has a light to mild fruity aroma, and a slightly piquant taste with a delicate note of bitterness. Lario oil is obtained from the Leccino, Frantoio and Casaliva varieties (at least 80%); it is deep golden to green in color, has a delicate fruity aroma and also a hint of bitterness in its taste.
