Miel d'Alsace

Miel d'Alsace is a honey product made in the French region of Alsace, where the production hives are located. There are six total varieties of Alsace honey, each one unique and different from the others. Honey from the silver fir has a balsamic smell and is brown colored.


Chestnut honey smells of ripe apples and has a tannic taste, with a light to dark brown color. Acacia honey smells of acacia flowers and is light colored. Lime honey has a smell of menthol, a bitter taste and a light to dark yellow. Forest honey smells of honeydew and has an intense, stringent taste and a uniquely intense color, while multi-flower honey is very sweet in taste and has a complex smell due to the mixture of different nectars.


The honey is extracted when ripe, without any heating, and is then packaged and sold to the consumers, ready to enjoy the wide variety of this high-quality product according to their preferences.
