Volailles de l'Ain

Volailles de l'Ain comprise of poultry such as chickens, turkeys, capons and guinea fowls that are grown slowly and live free-range. The poultry is grown in the French department of Ain, which has a long tradition of farming top quality poultry meat, where the animals are fed on a diet that consists mostly of cereals, which is beneficial for their flesh.

The birds have a delicate skin and the meat is tender and soft, with a unique, distinctive flavor. They can run in the open meadows, as opposed to living in cages and have twice the lifespan of standard-bred poultry that has more fat content and less flavorsome meat.
