Volailles de Loué

Volailles de Loué is poultry of excellent quality, sold either whole or in cuts, fresh or frozen and farm-reared in the French regions of Sarthe, Mayenne, Indre et Loire, Loir et Cher, Eure et Loir and Maine et Loire. There is a vast variety of products that Volailles de Loué consists of, namely: white chicken, turkey, bronze turkey, guinea fowl, Muscovy duck, black chicken, yellow chicken, goose, capon, hen, poularde and guinea-fowl capon.


Reared in small flocks in the open air and feeding on cereals, the meat from these animals is tasty and tender, yet it has a firm consistency and no excessive fat coverage. It boasts of a special reputation - it is the best-known poultry in whole France and used in haute cuisine restaurants, prizes for its moistness, depth of flavor, high protein content and low fat.
