Golden Cadillac

Golden Cadillac is an American after-dinner cocktail made with a combination of Galliano, heavy cream, and white crème de cacao. In order to prepare it, all ingredients should be shaken with ice so that a frothy head develops in the process, and the combination is then strained into a chilled cocktail glass.

It is recommended to garnish the cocktail with grated nutmeg. According to Poor Red’s BBQ, a bar in El Dorado, Golden Cadillac was invented in 1952 when a newly wedded couple requested a special mixed drink which would match their shiny gold Cadillac.
