Beachcomber

Beachcomber is a rum-based cocktail included in Bartender's Guide by Trader Vic, published in 1947. The cocktail combines light rum, orange liqueur, lime juice, and maraschino liqueur. Simple syrup can be added to taste. The original version is blended, but many contemporary versions suggest the shake and strain method.

Shaken version is usually served in a coupe or martini glass. Garnish is optional, but it can include a lime wedge, maraschino cherry, or orange zest. Some versions also have a sugar-coated rim.
