Embutidos Fermín's Jamón de Bellota 100% Ibérico is a premium cured ham made from free-range, purebred Iberian pigs that roam freely in the dehesa during the montanera season, from October to March. During this time, the pigs naturally double their weight by consuming acorns, grass, and other wild resources, resulting in exceptional marbling and a unique flavor profile.


The acorn-rich diet not only imparts a delicate texture and deep aroma but also enriches the ham with healthy omega-3 fatty acids and oleic acid. The pigs' active lifestyle, covering up to 14 kilometers daily, combined with their genetics, produces a product of extraordinary quality and juiciness.


The ham undergoes a natural curing process lasting between 36 and 48 months in La Alberca, Salamanca, a region located over 1,000 meters above sea level within the Las Batuecas-Sierra de Francia Natural Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. This unique environment, with its pure mountain air and pristine conditions, facilitates a slow, natural maturation process that allows the ham to develop its exceptional flavor and character.
