Although Dodger dogs are produced for the masses, it is also a tradition, a staple, and a part of Dodgers baseball culture. This hot dog variety was invented in the 1960s, and its producer, Farmer John, sells more than 3 million of Dodger dogs every year, most of them at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

It consists of a steamed white bun (produced by Hostess), a long, grilled pork wiener, and a selection of condiments according to personal preferences, such as mustard or crispy onions.

In Boston, hot dogs are typically served steamed, unlike many other hot dog varieties which are grilled. These hot dogs are often served with baked beans, a true Bostonian staple. The buns should not be large, and they are traditionally cut on the side, so they are thinner and don't overpower the hot dog.

Sometimes, the buns are additionally griddled with butter. The most common toppings for Boston hot dogs include mustard, ketchup, chopped onions, and picalilli – a chunky relish made with pickled vegetables and various spices.

These hot dogs are said to be so good that they are even being made and sold in other parts of the country such as Denver and Portland.

This burrito variety is especially popular in Michigan, although it can sometimes be found throughout the Unites States, in California, Washington, and Texas. The burrito is called wet because it is smothered in red chile sauce, and the whole thing is then topped with heaps of melted cheese.

It is quite heavy and filling, and can be filled with anything from shredded beef to beans and rice. Although its history is quite murky, some people claim that it originated in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Even though it's hard to pinpoint the exact point in time when Fenway franks were invented, it is believed that they were first sold soon after the park's 1912 opening. Since then, these delicious hot dogs have become popular fan favorites at baseball games and a true Boston staple.

Unlike other ballpark hot dogs which are typically either grilled or steamed, Fenway franks are boiled and grilled, then placed in a split bread roll and consumed plain or topped with various relishes or mustard. This hot dog variety is characterized by its bold flavors because the meat is flavored with garlic, onion, and mustard, and the sausages are then cooled using a special process in order to preserve the juiciness.

A corn dog consists of processed meat on a stick that is dipped in corn meal batter and deep-fried. It is a wildly popular snack (and hot dog variation) throughout the United States of America. Corn dogs are typically found at county fairs, carnivals, sports arenas, food courts in malls, and roadside eateries.

This flavorful snack was first popularized by Neil Fletcher at the Texas State Fair in 1942, although the vendors at the Minnesota State Fair claim that they invented it in 1941 when it was known as a Pronto Pup. Today, corn dogs are often eaten with yellow mustard, pickles, sauerkraut, or mayonnaise, and there are numerous varieties of the snack throughout the world, namely in Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
