One of the three vintages produced in northern Rhône region, La Landonne is a full-bodied red wine from the group of ‘La La’ wines made from Syrah grapes at Guigal vineyard. This vintage has been produced since 1978 and has a great aging potential.
Because it is made exclusively from Syrah grapes, the tannins can gracefully develop with aging. La Landonne has an opaque red color, and intense aromas of oriental spices, black fruit, and dry flowers, while the flavors are reminiscent of dark fruits and berries, dark chocolate, licorice, and mocha.
