Vegeta is a traditional and internationally-known Croatian condiment produced by Podravka. This dehydrated food seasoning consists of salt, selected vegetables, spices, and flavor enhancers. The condiment dates back to 1959 when it was invented in the company's research lab by professor Zlata Bartl.
Initially, Vegeta was exported to Hungary and the USSR, but nowadays, it's sold in 40 countries across the world. This classic condiment is used in numerous Croatian kitchens, providing flavor and saltiness to countless foods such as soups, stews, and meat dishes.
