Florida Sunrise

Florida Sunrise is a version of Tequila Sunrise prepared with a combination of tequila, orange juice, pineapple juice, and grenadine syrup. The only ingredient differentiating Florida Sunrise from the original is the addition of pineapple juice, which brings a tropical element to the classic cocktail.

In order to prepare it, tequila and equal parts orange and pineapple juice are poured into a cocktail glass over ice, followed by a drizzle of grenadine syrup which sinks to the bottom of the glass, creating a sunrise effect when unstirred. The cocktail is typically garnished with an orange slice before serving.
