"Obviously, I’m wild about Harry’s and always make a point to stop for my absolute favourite, the amazing chicken curry pie, which is chock full of chunks of juicy certified organic chicken and delicious Indian spices, whenever I can."

"One of the most memorable times I have had mushy peas was at the pie cart at Woolloomooloo, "Harry's Café de Wheels" - a pie floater! A pie, with a dollop of mashed potato on top, then some mushy peas, then a squirt of sauce - sounds horrid, but tasted pretty damn fine. Seriously, you've not lived until you've copped a hot armful of pie gravy, peas and sauce while devouring one of these babies."

"Sydney’s Best Pies for Cooler Weather: Harry’s Café de Wheels ― Beef in a dense pastry crust, topped with potato mash, mushy green peas and drowned in gravy."

"It’s a super tasty beef pie (though you can have whatever flavour you like) that is topped with a scrumptious tower of mashed potato and mushy peas with a big pool of gravy in the middle. Epic!"

"It all started at Harry’s Cafe de Wheels, in the suburb of Woolloomooloo, (spell and say that one), in the city of Sydney. He then went off the Second World War and on his return re-opened this now legendary pie floater institution that still runs from the same spot, but has other sites all around."

"It’s a basic caravan with some uneven chairs scattered around it and the filling meat pie with its stodgy lump of mash and perfect pool of sweetish gravy on top is brilliant sustenance. If I lived here, I can imagine grabbing some if I worked nearby or was on my way home from a night out."

"The pies here are made with good quality meat. The mash smooth as silk and the pea is chucky but my favourite has to be the gravy. The combination of textured of meat, pastry, mash and that hot gravy is just a symphony in the mouth."

"The meat pies have chunky beef instead of mince, which makes all the difference. Also on the menu are pasties, sausage rolls and hot dogs, the ideal drunk foods."

"Gravy, mushy peas, mashed potato all piled on top of a curry meat pie probably sounds like the most ghastly combination ever, but it’s hot and delicious, savoury and comforting, it’s soft yet crispy, and it works. Every dig of the fork through the layers of gravy, peas, potato, pastry and curry was sheer pleasure."

"It was a vacation treat, and it was fabulous! It is right off of the coast near the naval ships of Australia. Famous stars and governmental people have gone to this cafe as well."
