This behemoth of a meal is an invention of the Tre Kronor restaurant from the Swedish town of Skellefteå. It consists of a calzone pizza that is stuffed with hamburgers (along with bread, toppings, and dressings) and French fries.
The calorie-laden dish was originally invented for people who could not decide whether to get a pizza or a hamburger after a night of heavy drinking.
Deep-fried pizza is a Scottish concoction consisting of a pizza that is deep-fried in hot oil (without being dipped in batter) instead of being baked in an oven. It can be found in numerous chips shops throughout the country, where it is fried in the same oil where fish and chips are prepared.
This extremely caloric and unhealthy meal is often served with salt, vinegar, or chips in order to improve its flavors.

Pizza mimosa is a variety of Italian pizza bianca or white pizza that is topped with cream, cooked ham, corn, and mozzarella cheese. Commonly referred to as panna prosciutto e mais or pizza con prosciutto e mais, the pizza is usually drizzled with olive oil and garnished with fresh basil leaves.
There is also a vegetarian and gluten-free version of pizza mimosa that calls for topping the pizza with scamorza cheese or mozzarella, arugula, and olive oil. Pizza mimosa is occasionally prepared with a layer of tomato sauce underneath the creamy and cheesy toppings.

Sardenara is an Italian pizza hailing from the region of Liguria. Despite its classification as a pizza, sardenara is not a typical pizza, but more of a savory focaccia flatbread. It consists of a rectangular-shaped dough that is traditionally topped with tomato sauce, salted anchovies, whole garlic cloves, black olives, and oregano.
Originally, the toppings did not include tomatoes, but a sort of paste made with sardines was smeared over the dough and the pizza was garnished with sardine heads on top, which is how the dish got its name sardenaira or sardenara.
MAIN INGREDIENTS
This Neapolitan-style traditional pizza variety uses the Italian meat delicacy known as porchetta as a topping. Porchetta is a type of stuffed, boneless pork roast that is succulent, savory, and flavor-packed. Slices of aromatic porchetta are arranged on the pizza dough, usually smeared with tomato sauce, sprinkled with fresh rosemary, and then topped with crumbled fresh mozzarella and slices of smoked mozzarella.
Pizza porchetta is typically finished off with a drizzle of olive oil and baked until its crust is crispy and the cheese is bubbly. This pizza variety bursts with garlicky, cheesy, and meaty flavors, and its base can also be a pizza bianca, without the addition of tomato sauce.

Although it seemingly deviates from the standard Italian pizza by using an ingredient unconventional for authentic Italian cuisine – the Vienna sausage – pizza viennese is, on the contrary, a very traditional Italian pizza variety. The pizza base is usually smeared with tomato sauce and then topped with mozzarella and Vienna sausages cut into slices.
Hailing from the actual birthplace of pizza – the town of Naples - pizza viennese is especially beloved by children, who are, as most Italians would agree, its primary consumers. There is also a version of this pizza that calls for the addition of fries.
Lørdagspizza is a traditional homemade-style pizza, which can be translated as Saturday pizza. The dough is typically shaped in a rectangular pan. It is then topped with ground meat, tomato sauce, and generous amounts of grated cheese before being baked to bubbly perfection.
MAIN INGREDIENTS
Tirolese or speck pizza consists of tomato sauce, mozzarella, and thin slices of cured Tiroler speck. Although it is typical for South Tyrol, this pizza is eaten throughout the country. Tirolese can sometimes be enriched with the addition of mushrooms.
This Italian pizza variety is called mare e monti, meaning sea and mountains. The best of Italy is represented in this pizza, which is topped with a blend of seafood and mushrooms alongside other ingredients, such as tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, parsley, spices, and reduced white wine.
Typical seafood includes shrimps, clams, octopus, squids, or mussels, while the selection of mushrooms typically includes porcini or white mushrooms. With pungent, earthy, and nutty flavors from the mushrooms and delicate flavors from the seafood, this Italian specialty is a true pleasure for the taste buds.
MAIN INGREDIENTS
This traditional pizza variety is topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, tuna, and sliced onions. It is often sprinkled with oregano and it can occasionally include capers.
TasteAtlas food rankings are based on the ratings of the TasteAtlas audience, with a series of mechanisms that recognize real users and that ignore bot, nationalist or local patriotic ratings, and give additional value to the ratings of users that the system recognizes as knowledgeable.
