Nespolino

Nespolino is an Italian liqueur made with dry loquat seeds. The seeds are steeped in alcohol for several weeks, and the macerate is then adjusted with sugar and water. Sometimes, cinnamon and vanilla are added, and the result is an aromatic, richly flavored liqueur with a light amber hue.


Nespolino has a nutty-like aroma and flavor, and it is often said to resemble walnut (nocino) or amaretto liqueurs. It is best enjoyed as a well-chilled digestif.
