The Jamón de Bellota 100% Ibérico Lazo is a premium artisanal ham produced from free-range 100% Ibérico pigs. These pigs are raised in the dehesas of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park and Badajoz, feeding naturally on acorns during the montanera season.
This diet imparts a rich flavor and distinctive marbling to the meat. The hams undergo a meticulous curing process in traditional wooden drying rooms, the only ones constructed in the past 50 years. The wood acts as a natural regulator of humidity and temperature, allowing fresh air from the Sierra de Huelva to enhance the curing process.
Jamones Lazo is a Spanish company specializing in the production and sale of Iberian hams and sausages. Founded in 1940, the company is located in Cortegana, at the heart of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park, in the province of Huelva.
As a member of the Jabugo Denomination of Origin, Jamones Lazo is dedicated to preserving traditional production methods, including curing hams in drying rooms with oak ceilings and Arabic tiles.
