Clos Saint-Denis | Local Wine Appellation From Côte-d'Or, France | TasteAtlas

Clos Saint-Denis

Clos Saint-Denis is a French appellation and a grand cru vineyard located in Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy that produces wines mainly based on Pinot Noir. The wines are typically elegant and harmonious with aromas of red and dark fruit, but some varieties may display subtle notes of flowers, herbs, and sweet spices.

Although powerful, these wines are incredibly approachable and have a smooth texture. They pair well with various meat dishes that include game, poultry, beef, or lamb, but they can also match well with washed-rind cheese varieties.
