Cameo

Cameo is an American semi-soft, Camembert-style cheese produced in California by Redwood Hill Farms. The cheese is made from goat's milk. Underneath its bloomy rind, the texture is soft, creamy, and buttery. The rind is covered with peppercorns and fresh herbs, adding herbal and floral aromas to the cheese.

The flavors are smooth, goaty, and creamy, but over time it develops a complex and earthy flavor. It's recommended to serve Cameo on a cheeseboard with apples and pears. Pair it with a glass of dry rosé on the side.
