Vanuatu Flying Fox

White flying fox is endemic to Vanuatu. It has big, well-developed eyes and oval ears without a tragus. The bat primarily feeds on fruits and nectar. When used in cooking, flying fox is mostly used in the national dish of Vanuatu called laplap.
