Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2002 is a pinnacle of elegance and craftsmanship from the esteemed house of Taittinger. Made exclusively from 100% Chardonnay grapes sourced from the prestigious Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs, this vintage reflects the exceptional conditions of the 2002 harvest, marked by a mild winter and a long, warm summer that allowed the grapes to reach perfect ripeness.

After careful vinification, 5% of the wine is aged in new French oak barrels, adding subtle toasted nuances and complexity. It then matures for nearly a decade on the lees in Taittinger’s historic 13th-century chalk cellars, developing remarkable depth and richness.

The nose reveals refined aromas of pear, candied citrus, dried fruit, marzipan, brioche, and delicate mineral notes. On the palate, the champagne is rich and expressive, with flavors of mandarin, fresh pineapple, and lightly candied fruit, beautifully balanced by a refreshing acidity.

The finish is long and vivid, leaving a lasting impression. This exceptional champagne pairs perfectly with seafood, shellfish, or refined fish dishes, making it an ideal choice for celebrations and unforgettable occasions.
