Ruster Ausbruch

Ruster Ausbruch is a prestigious sweet wine from the municipality of Rust in Austria, crafted from white grape varieties affected by Botrytis cinerea, also known as noble rot, which concentrates the sugars and flavors in the grapes. The result is a wine with a high natural sugar content, a dense texture, and a golden to amber-yellow hue.

It boasts complex flavors of dried fruits, honey, caramelized almonds, and exotic fruits. The unique microclimate near Lake Neusiedl and traditional hand-harvesting methods contribute to its distinctiveness. Additionally, to preserve its authenticity, Ruster Ausbruch must be bottled within the Rust region.
