Recommendations

"The set menu is of great value and the staff is always willing to accommodate requests. My first visit to Midori was in 2011 and kudos to them for maintaining the consistency over the years. Anago, chutoro and the complimentary kani miso salad are the best here!"
"Midori is a cozy and popular sushi restaurant. It offers a wide variety of freshly made sushi that will, in the case of the octopus, tickle your tongue as you take a mouthful. The waiting line can be long, but the upside is that in Japan, such a long wait is a proof of quality."
"The sushi set included ikura, uni, herring roe, and much more. The neta pieces were very big, so it is a full meal. Is this silly? The two of us could leave full and satisfied. For the price, it is a great value."
"Sushi may have a luxurious image, but there are several restaurants that serve sushi at reasonable prices if you dine at lunch, like at Sushi no Midori. They safely purchase their food products with detailed inspections, so you’ll be able to enjoy your sushi with peace of mind."
"22 Best Places for Sushi in Tokyo: Midori Sushi Ginza - The anago ippon-nigiri, a nearly whole fillet of sea eel brushed with sweet-and-savory soy sauce, draped over a hefty mouthful of rice, is the restaurant's signature. It's not fine dining, but the food is simple, unfussy, and satisfying."
"The fish, fresh from Tsukiji Market, comes in generous portions—each piece is so long that one end tapers over the rice like the train of a wedding dress. You could easily fill up on one of the incredibly reasonable sets."
"Whenever I go to Japan I always wonder where do locals go for good, affordable sushi? I finally found one place in Ginza that answered my question. They gave us 3 sets on one plate and in batches of sushi. They were all fresh and delicious."
"Midori is a small and intimate sushi restaurant in Ginza. While the dishes are high quality and made from the freshest seafood, it has great value for money compared to other sushi bars in the area."
"The first thing that impresses here are the prices: a true bargain for food this fresh. I order morsels of shrimp, sea urchin, extra fatty tuna, abalone and a fish called striped jack and within minutes a platter is placed in front of me. I quickly devour all the items."
"The server suggests my next course be chawanmushi — a hot egg custard dish that's filled with fish and topped with a crab claw. It’s delicious."
