Iločka čvarkara sa slaninom is a tasty Croatian snack originating from the city of Ilok. It consists of flour, sugar, yeast, oil, milk, and bacon – the fattier, the better. When the dough has risen, it should be cut into squares, topped with bacon strips, then baked in an oven until golden brown.
