This exceptional blend comprises hand-selected single pot still and single grain Irish whiskeys, aged between 13 and 34 years in lightly charred ex-bourbon American oak barrels.

Bottled at 40% ABV, it offers a harmonious balance of ripe fruit notes, sweet pear and apple, complemented by layers of brown sugar, vanilla, and subtle spices. The palate is luscious and silky, with orchard fruits and pot still spices coming to the fore, leading to a finish that leaves a mild roasted coffee and nutty character lingering until the very end.

Midleton Very Rare Dair Ghaelach Kilranelagh Wood is the fifth release in the esteemed Dair Ghaelach series by Midleton Distillery. This exceptional single pot still Irish whiskey is initially matured in American oak bourbon barrels before undergoing a finishing period in virgin Irish oak casks crafted from six trees sourced from the Kilranelagh Estate in County Wicklow.

Bottled at cask strength, ranging from 56.8% to 57.5% ABV, it offers a robust and lively profile. The nose presents forest notes of fresh pine, floral honey, and ground pepper, with sweet and tropical fruits emerging alongside herbal green tea and freshly mown hay.
