Bardstown Bourbon Company's Origin Series Rye is a 6-year-old Kentucky straight rye whiskey, crafted with a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. This expression undergoes a unique finishing process in hybrid American oak and cherry wood barrels for up to six months, imparting distinctive flavors.
Bottled at 96 proof (48% ABV), it presents tasting notes of ripe cherry, toasted oak, white flower, dill, and cinnamon, culminating in a rich, round mouthfeel with a sublime finish.
