Bardstown Bourbon Company's Discovery Series #11 is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that exemplifies the art of blending. This expression combines three distinct bourbons: a 13-year-old (73%) with a mash bill of 75% corn, 13% rye, and 12% malted barley; a 10-year-old (21%) with 78% corn, 13% rye, and 9% malted barley; and a 6-year-old (6%) from Bardstown Bourbon Co. itself, featuring 68% corn, 20% wheat, and 12% malted barley.
Bottled at 118.1 proof (59.05% ABV), it offers vibrant notes of Rainier cherry, butterscotch, brown sugar, and roasted peanut, leading to a palate of toffee and cinnamon spice.
