Bardstown Bourbon Company has partnered with Blackberry Farm Brewery to create a unique Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey finished in Oxheart Stout barrels. This collaboration blends 6- to 14-year-old bourbons, which are then aged for an additional 17 months in the brewery's stout barrels.
The result is a limited release of only 10 barrels, available exclusively in Kentucky and Tennessee. Tasting notes include dark chocolate, honey, and toasted oak on the nose, leading to a palate of mocha and cinnamon, with a rich mouthfeel evolving into a lasting finish of marshmallow, vanilla, and malt.
