Recommendations

"The sushi rolls were incredible. Perfectly crafted and each bite full of flavour."

"The mixed sashimi blew me away – I normally shy away from sashimi as it can often lack flavour, but these fish pieces were perfectly tender and melted in my mouth. I don’t think I’ve ever had hamachi before, but it was definitely the favourite, particularly when dipped in the ‘supreme soy’!"
"Try their famous maki rolls, which come with heaps of toppings and luxury fillings. The best are the Dragon Roll, a mixture of prawn and avocado, with a selection of tuna, salmon and prawn on top, the Spicy Tuna Roll, because it’s a classic, and the Ebi Roll, with a prawn tempura filling."

on Maki

"The tuna sashimi is incredible; with a ginger, chilli and soya reduction, slivers of salty seaweed and toasted pine nuts, it’s rich and unctuous, the perfect balance of fresh fish and ocean flavours. Like nothing I’ve tasted before, incredibly creative, and totally delicious."
"And the rolls, oh the rolls! Bling Bling roll: crayfish, scallop, avocado, cucumber, wasabi, tobiko, miso aioli, chives, trout roe, unagi sauce & lime. (My favourite.)"

on Maki

"We jumped right in with a huge selection of sushi, with very generous portions and all of a very high quality (particularly for the price) and beautifully presented in rows of vibrant colours."
"Another absolute favourite of mine is the soy cured salmon. Sashimi-phobes fear not, this is very palatable and the toppings make it incredibly moorish. A very good choice if you’re a sashimi beginner."
"Softshell crab, coal-black rice, lettuce, avocado, masago, spicy sauce & tsume soy. Don’t be put off by the black rice, this is incredibly delicious."

on Maki

"Finally two futomaki rolls called 'gypsy big' - seared fish, spicy sauce, avocado, cucumber, chilli, onion, ginger and unagi sauce. These rolls were my favourite out of the sushi dishes, mainly because they were a little bit different to your usual inside out rolls and nigiri. The flavours here were excellent."

on Maki

"I have eaten in a number of sushi restaurants in my time, but this place is THE best out of the lot of them. Below is the food I shared in, with my co-workers and everything was just perfection and so so fresh. I even found myself salivating, smelling the vegetables!"
