Satrica

(Bećarska satrica, Slavonska satrica, Slavonian satrica)

Bećarska satrica is a Croatian salad originating from the region of Slavonija and Baranja. It consists of fresh cheese, sour cream, scallions, parsley, salt, and sweet paprika. In order to prepare it, all ingredients should simply be stirred together, then served with a pinch of sweet paprika sprinkled on top.

Bećarska satrica is usually served as an appetizer, either on its own, with bread, or with a traditional meat product called kulen.
