Piarom dates

(Maryami, پیارم)

Piarom dates are a cultivar primarily grown and harvested in the Iranian province of Hormozgan. They are prized for their unique caramel-like flavor, meaty flesh, sweet taste, dark-brown color, and high nutritional value. Also, they are regarded as one of the most luxurious varieties, often dubbed as "chocolate date".

Piarom dates are mostly consumed fresh on their own, as a snack, or paired with nuts and cheese, but they can also be a part of various regional desserts, puddings, and porridges.
