Jezebel Sauce

Jezebel sauce is a traditional sauce originating from the deep South and it's believed that it might have come from the gulf coast (Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and Texas). The sauce is usually made with a combination of pineapple preserves, apple jelly, mustard, horseradish, cayenne pepper, and black pepper.

The ingredients are mixed in a bowl, blended until smooth, and chilled before serving. Jezebel sauce goes well with country ham, turkey sandwiches, burgers, and cream cheese.
