Falstaff - 100

Hand-harvested grapes, 96.5% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 0.5% Petit Verdot, are long-aged in 50% new oak barriques to produce a beautifully elegant and refined Pomerol. “Great energy and focus with cool black and blue fruits, a salty minerality and toasted liquorice” (Decanter).

About Château La Fleur-Pétrus

The Château La Fleur Pétrus is based on an 18-hectare vineyard planted on deep gravel and clay soils on the Pomerol plateau. The grape varieties are 91% Merlot, 6% Cabernet franc and 3% Petit Verdot. The wines are aged for 16 to 18 months in French oak barrels, 50% of which are new.
