Bloody Bull | Local Cocktail From New Orleans, United States of America | TasteAtlas

Bloody Bull

Bloody Bull is a spin on the classic Bloody Mary. Along with traditional ingredients, this version includes an interesting addition of beef broth (beef consommé). Standard components in a Bloody Bull include tomato juice, vodka, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, lemon (or lime) juice, salt, and black pepper.

The ingredients can be lightly shaken with ice and are then poured into a high highball or a Collins glass filled with ice. The garnishes vary, but they often include a lemon wedge, celery stalk, or pickled vegetables. Bloody Bull allegedly originated at the legendary Brennan’s in New Orleans.
