"The fall-off-the-bone meat yielded to the slightest nudge of our chopsticks. As for the soup, it was hearty with a nice thick mouthfeel. It tasted almost creamy. Lovely."
"The chicken meat is tender to the point one can use a pair of chopsticks to effortlessly split the meat and get to the treasure inside. The glutinous rice inside is plump full of the rich broth while nestling the split chestnut and dried jujubes."
"The invigorating ginseng wine and soup did their job well, my face was blushing when we left Tosokchon. Later that evening, I could feel the warmth in my body building up as we paced the street in search of some bargain shopping."
"The chicken is stuffed with glutinous rice, ginseng and some other herbs and special ingredients that makes it a very nourishing dish. The soup actually became thicker when the glutinous rice was exposed, providing for a very hearty meal. Tosokchon Samgyetang was good and has always been thought of to be one of the best Ginseng Chicken in Seoul."
"The chicken was so tender it fell off the bones without any resistance. The glutinous rice was beautifully sticky and soft, while the broth… oh, the broth. Every hearty sip was like happy flowers blossoming in my belly. Robust, flavorful, soothing, utterly inspiring."
"Stuffed to the hilt with glutinous rice and jujubes, it’s a substantial and nutritious dish that makes you feel good after eating it. Ren loved it and called it one of the best dishes that she ate on this trip. I don’t care if it’s summer or winter. If you’re in Seoul, then you should definitely try Tosokchon’s samgyetang."
