Silver Fizz

Silver Fizz is a vintage cocktail based on gin and egg whites. It is a variation of the basic Gin Fizz that combines gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup, egg white, and soda. To prepare the cocktail, all the ingredients apart from soda are shaken with cracked or shaved ice.

The mix is then strained, and the drink is topped with soda. Silver Fizz is served in a highball or Collins glass. It is usually served without ice. Silver Fizz probably first appeared in the United States in the mid-1800s.
