"The specialty of Osteria Gnocco Fritto, a restaurant on the Navigli, as you can guess from the name itself, is Gnocco Fritto, prepared following the traditional recipe from Emilia. It is served "as if it was raining" at the table, still warm and served in wicker baskets on straw paper. From the menu you can choose various combinations of meats, cheeses and sauces with which you can enjoy them."

"Gnocco Fritto is the king here. It's perfect, fluffy, tasty and not to greasy. It is free* and you can eat it as much as you can. (*if you order something from a rather good selection of cold cuts). Forget about the main dish though, your eyes may be hungry, but gnocco fritto will be enough."
