Lasagnette | Local Pasta Variety From Italy, Western Europe | TasteAtlas

Lasagnette

Lasagnette is a variety of Italian pasta that is in its essence a narrower, thinner version of lasagne, the famous, wide Italian noodles used to make the eponymous baked dish. This pasta variety is usually used in the same way as fettuccine – tossed with a light sauce and served warm, preferrably with some grated cheese on top.

There are several version of lasagnette: some are cut straight on both sides, some are ridged on one side and straight on another, while some have ridges on both sides.
