"Kazandibi is burnt milk pudding. Once chicken breast pudding is removed from the pot, the pot is heated even further to brown and slightly burn the pudding that is still left on the sides and the bottom of the pot. These browned/burnt sides are then scraped off and served as dessert. This dessert is milky and fibrous, but much denser than chicken breast pudding. So, so good!"
"Where to begin? I know! Go to Hafiz Mustafa and taste everything, think Kazandibi or a sort of baked pudding where they slightly burn the bottom to give it a sweeter flavor. There are sweet shops all over the city but if you want to go to Hafiz Mustafa (as we did every night) it has three locations. We went to the one at Hamidiye Cadessi 84-86, where it has been since 1864."
