"My food tour in Istanbul concluded at renowned Hafiz Mustafa 1864, apparently selling the best baklava in town. Whether it is the best I cannot say but it was pretty good and most importantly for me – not overly sweet. Especially if you are looking for a fancy cafe option it seems the place to be."
"Baklava made from ultra-thin flaky pastry, soaked in syrup, and studded with pistachios and walnuts comes in a myriad of different shapes. It's very easy to get carried away here, so choose wisely, order a tea, and have a taste before buying to take away."

The shop sells a lot of different kinds of baklavas and other sweets. You choose the size of the box and then fill it up with your choices."
"The Turkish baklava that I first tasted at the famed Hafiz Mustafa’s in Istanbul instantly had me falling in love with the dessert. It indeed is the best place to have your first baklava and many other Turkish desserts with their expertise in the recipe since 1864 for 154 years. I’d highly recommend the classic baklava and the pistachio baklava!"

"For desserts, Hafiz Mustafa is the most popular food chain which is open 24 hours. Our recommendation: Baklava."
