Guncha wa keema

(Guncha-o-keema, गुंचा वा कीमा)

Guncha wa keema is a traditional dish originating from Hyderabad. It’s usually made with a combination of cauliflower florets, ghee, garam masala, tomatoes, salt, pepper, ginger-garlic paste, onions, red chili powder, coriander, turmeric, and cumin.

The cauliflower florets are steamed or cooked, then tossed with the other ingredients, most of which have been fried in ghee. If desired, the dish can be sprinkled with lemon juice. Before serving, guncha wa keema is usually garnished with coriander leaves and it’s then ready to be enjoyed with any Indian flatbread on the side.
