Erbaluce di Caluso

This Italian DOCG region encompasses dry white wines, sparkling spumante, and sweet passito styles. The wines are produced in Piedmont—namely the provinces Torino, Biella, and Vercelli—with Erbaluce as the principal grape variety. Dry white wines typically have noticeable acidity which is balanced with refreshing floral and fruit notes.

They work well with appetizers, risottos, and freshwater fish, preferably the golden tench of Pianalto.
