Funk Drop Rum is a unique British rum produced at the DropWorks Distillery in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. This rum stands out for its intense fruity aromas, featuring notes of toasted pineapple, orange, guava, and overripe fruit, delivering a rich and savory flavor that envelops the palate.
The production process involves fermentation with the exclusive "Wild Trinity" yeast, unique to DropWorks, and distillation in a custom double retort pot still, the first of its kind in England. This rum boasts a high ester content, contributing to its distinctive aroma and taste.
With an alcohol content of 63%, Funk Drop Rum is perfect for cocktails like Daiquiris, Hurricanes, and Zombies, but it can also be enjoyed neat.

DropWorks is a British rum distillery located in Welbeck, Nottinghamshire, in the heart of England. Founded by Louis Hayes, the company is dedicated to crafting premium, modern British rum, aiming to prove that high-quality rum made in Britain can be accessible to everyone.
The distillery spans 17,000 square feet of production space, with an additional 8,000 square feet of barrel warehouse and a three-mile underground tunnel for barrel storage. This setup allows for extended and consistent aging in three distinct environments.
