Curacao Punch

Curacao Punch is an English cocktail made with a combination of bar sugar, fresh lemon juice, soda water, brandy, curaçao, and rum. In order to prepare it, a goblet or a bar glass should be filled with sugar, lemon juice, and soda water, muddled until the sugar dissolves.


The glass is then filled with crushed ice and remaining ingredients, and the combination is then stirred and served. The first recipe for this cocktail can be found in Harry Johnson’s 1882 New and Improved Bartender’s Manual.
