Movia is a renowned winery located in the Goriška Brda region of Slovenia, with roots dating back to the early 18th century. Since 1820, the Kristančič family has managed the estate, which today spans 30 hectares, 25 of which are vineyards straddling the border between Slovenia and Italy, encompassing both the Goriška Brda and Collio wine regions.
Under the leadership of winemaker Aleš Kristančič, Movia is celebrated for its commitment to organic and biodynamic farming practices, producing wines that authentically express the unique terroir of the region. The estate cultivates grape varieties such as Ribolla Gialla, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Pinot Noir.
