A Caresse Mise en Musique is an English Barleywine aged in Bourbon barrels for 24 months. After blending the barrels, the Fauve team infused Madagascar Bourbon vanilla into the beer. Beautiful notes of caramel, oxidative notes of prunes, raisins, and the vanilla from the Bourbon barrels blends with the Madagascar vanilla.
A pronounced bitterness balances everything out.
