ASW Distillery, founded in 2016 by co-founders Jim Chasteen and Charlie Thompson, is a prominent craft distillery located in Atlanta, Georgia. It holds the distinction of being the second legally licensed distillery in Atlanta since the end of Prohibition and is renowned for distilling the city's first single malt whiskey.
The distillery combines traditional Scottish-style double copper pot distillation with innovative Southern-style grain-in distillation, leaving the grain solids in throughout the entire production process. This unique approach has earned them the moniker "Southern Pot-Still Pioneers."
